Lara Hudson is an early years leader and education strategist with more than 25 years of international experience, including over two decades in the UAE education sector. Most recently, she was Director of Early Childhood and Development at Innoventures Education, where she shaped strategy, strengthened quality, and championed best practice across multiple early years settings. Earlier, she served as Chief Operational Officer for two UAE training companies, Country Manager for a European education group, and Head of Education for a zoo in the UK.

She holds an LLB in Law alongside Further Education (FE) Trainer, Assessor, and Teacher qualifications. For illumine, Lara writes and reviews blog content on early years practice, from purposeful observation to nursery induction and quality, and presents illumine webinars for nursery leaders, including The Nursery Induction Toolkit and The Nursery Observation Toolkit.
